Getting there
- Fly into Athens International Airport (ATH), with direct flights from Dublin.
- Arrive on Saturday 29 May. Dinner is at 19:30.
- Leave on Saturday 5 June, with rooms vacated by mid-morning.
Airport transfers
We organise a group shuttle from Athens Airport to Evia Silence, at an added cost. There’s a single transfer in each direction, so plan to arrive around the same time as the group, or wait for it.
Around the retreat
Evia Silence is secluded, but everything you need is close by. The village of Argiro is 7 minutes away for basics, Zarakes (25 minutes) has shops, tavernas and a pharmacy, and Aliveri (35 minutes) has everything else, including a hospital.
Questions
Absolutely. This retreat in Greece welcomes all levels, from total beginners to regular practitioners. There’s no expectation to keep up or push through anything. You’re invited to join what calls to you and rest when you need to. Siobhán’s teaching is rooted in accessibility, making yoga work for every body, not just the flexible ones.
Mornings open with Vinyasa Flow, a dynamic practice with views of the Aegean Sea. Evenings wind down with Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
For this yoga retreat in Greece, your cost per person includes 7 nights accommodation at the Evia Silence Retreat Center, all yoga sessions, breakfast and dinner daily. Drinks are available at the hotel bar for an extra cost.
Flights to Athens, transfers to and from the airport, travel insurance, lunches, drinks aside from water, personal treatments such as massage, and any personal spending during free time or on our midweek excursion (and transport for this excursion). We recommend budgeting a little extra for meals out and anything that catches your eye along the way.
We organise a group shuttle directly from Athens Airport to the retreat centre, so you don’t need to worry about navigation or hiring a car. Simply book your flights into Athens (ATH) and we’ll handle the rest from there.
Late May and early June are generally warm and sunny, making it a lovely time to visit Greece. Temperatures can vary, and evenings may be cooler, so we recommend bringing layers alongside your summer clothes and swimwear.
Bring comfortable yoga clothes, swimwear, sun cream, a hat, walking shoes and light clothing for the warmer days. A jumper or light jacket is useful for cooler evenings, along with anything you like to have for your own yoga or relaxation practice.
Solo travellers are very welcome on this yoga retreat in Greece! Many people come alone and leave with friendships they didn’t expect. Single occupancy options are available, and solo bookings are common on our retreats. Get in touch to discuss room options.
No, all yoga mats and props are provided at the retreat centre. Just bring yourself and comfortable clothing to move in. If you have a personal mat you love practising on, you’re welcome to bring it, but it’s absolutely not necessary.
We keep group sizes intentionally small, a maximum of 15 to 20 people. This means more personal attention in yoga sessions, a real sense of community by the end of the week.
Reserve your place
Tell us which room you’d like and we’ll confirm availability and send details for your €100 deposit.
