Kelly Marie Mills

Ayurveda, Pranayama & Yoga Philosophy | Setu YTT Faculty

Kelly has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2004 and is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine that underpins much of what we understand about yoga’s relationship to health and wellbeing. She trained with Contemporary Yoga in Cork and deepened her Ayurvedic studies under Atreya Smith at the European Institute of Vedic Studies, one of the most respected centres for this tradition in the world.

With over 20 years of experience and a 500hr qualification, Kelly brings a depth of knowledge that is both scholarly and lived. Her teaching invites students to move beyond the physical practice and explore yoga as a complete system, one that has the capacity to transform not just how you move, but how you understand yourself and the world around you.

What you’ll learn with Kelly

  • Pranayama: the philosophy, physiology, and practice of breathwork
  • Yoga philosophy: key texts, concepts, and how ancient wisdom applies to modern teaching
  • Ayurveda: its principles, its relationship to yoga, and how to weave it meaningfully into your classes
  • Meditation: establishing a personal practice and the skills to guide others

"Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind."
