Philippe Madec: Compassionate Inquiry

A psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr Gabor Maté

Compassionate Inquiry (C.I.) is a powerful therapeutic process that supports you in uncovering the root causes of emotional pain, trauma, and addictive patterns. Through this work, you are invited into a deeply safe space where you are seen, heard, and understood — allowing you to reconnect with your innate potential for authentic self-expression.

C.I. sessions help you:

  • Develop greater self-awareness and emotional clarity

  • Understand the wisdom of your body and your lived experience

  • Cultivate inner spaciousness and resilience

  • Respond to life’s challenges with more confidence and compassion

This approach combines the methodological rigour of Western therapeutic practice with the intuitive insight of Eastern wisdom traditions. It is a gentle yet profound process for those ready to journey inward with curiosity, kindness and honesty.

Philippe is in the final months of completing his Compassionate Inquiry professional training and is currently offering reduced-rate sessions as part of his final practicum. A chartered physiotherapist with over 1,000 hours of education in yoga and meditation, Philippe brings deep presence, experience, and care to his sessions. He has facilitated retreats since 2017 and has spent over a decade immersed in personal development and psychotherapy.
