Inis Mór offers a truly unique backdrop for our Yoga Escape on the Aran Islands. With sweeping views, fresh sea air, and a rhythm of life that feels beautifully unhurried, this retreat is all about slowing down and coming back to yourself. Whether you find balance through yoga, bracing swims in the ocean, or quiet moments of reflection along the cliffs, you’ll be invited to rest and restore at your own pace.
You’ll stay in cosy, characterful accommodation at Kilmurvey House, just a short stroll from the beach. Over the weekend we’ll share nourishing meals, seven hours of both energising and restorative yoga, and plenty of time to explore the island’s wild beauty.
With a welcoming, supportive community and a laid-back atmosphere, this is a retreat for all levels. Come for the yoga, stay for the laughter, the landscape, and the chance to recharge by the ocean.
What to Expect on Your Yoga Escape
Laid-back Days, Lively Evenings
Our Yoga Escape is about embracing your own rhythm. Each day begins at 8am with an energising Vinyasa Flow session in the calm, light-filled space at Kilmurvey House, followed by a leisurely breakfast at 10am. Afternoons are yours to enjoy however you wish, explore the island’s wild coastline, cycle to ancient forts, dip into the sea, or simply curl up with a good book.
Evenings bring Restorative Yoga from 5pm to 6:30pm, followed by a group dinner at 6:30pm. Expect wholesome food, warm conversation, and perhaps a glass of wine as the quietness of island life settles in.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re new to yoga, a seasoned practitioner, or simply in need of a break, this retreat is for you. With no pressure to follow a strict schedule, you’ll have the freedom to create the balance of yoga, rest, and adventure that feels right for you.

Meet Your Teacher
Siobhán Moylan, owner and manager of Setu Studio in Clarinbridge, County Galway will guide you through the week, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her teaching. With thousands of hours of teaching behind her, Siobhán teaches Vinyasa Yoga as well as Restorative Yoga.
Siobhán’s teaching is deeply rooted in anatomy and physiology and making yoga accessible to every body.
Inspired by her personal journey of healing through yoga, Siobhán creates supportive and approachable space for growth, connection, and self-discovery.
Accomodation & Costs

Shared Rooms
Triple: Shared room for three people with one double and two single beds, €400 per person
Twin: Shared room for two people with one double and one single bed, €420 per person

Double Rooms
Standard: Double occupancy room with standard sized double bed, €450 per person
Deluxe: Double occupancy room with queen/king sized bed, €470 per person

Sleep Well
You’ll be staying at Kilmurvey House, a charming, family-run guesthouse with all the warmth of a traditional country home. The bedrooms are cosy and elegantly furnished, blending old-world character with modern comfort. Crisp linens, soft lighting, and thoughtful touches make each room a restful retreat after days of yoga and sea air. With its welcoming atmosphere and timeless charm, Kilmurvey House is the perfect base for slowing down and feeling at home on the island.

Eat Well
Meals on the retreat will be prepared by our wonderful chef, Mary. Expect nourishing, flavourful food made with care, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Enjoy the simple pleasure of good food in good company.

Activities & Local Attractions
From the ancient stone fort of Dún Aonghasa to the crystal clear waters of Kilmurvey Beach, Inis Mór is rich with places to explore. Wander along coastal trails to the dramatic Wormhole, visit the historic Seven Churches, or browse local crafts just outside your door at Kilmurvey Craft Village. The island’s wild beauty and gentle pace make it the perfect complement to your retreat.

What’s Included
2 nights accommodation at Kilmurvey House
3.5 hours of yoga each day (Vinyasa in the morning, Restorative in the evening)
Two nourishing meals daily (breakfast and dinner) prepared by our private chef
Time and space to explore the island’s stunning coastline, ancient stone forts, and quiet walking trails
Plenty of downtime to rest, read, chat or simply soak up the peace of island life
What’s Not Included
Ferry to Inis Mór, transfers, and travel insurance
Lunches (there are lovely cafés and pubs on the island)
Optional extras such as bike hire or local activities

Getting There
You can reach Inis Mór by ferry or air. Ferries run year-round from Rossaveal, Co. Galway (45 min crossing) and Galway City Docks (90 min via Galway Bay), both operated by Aran Island Ferries—check their website for schedules and weather updates.
Alternatively, sail from Doolin, Co. Clare with Doolin Ferries, with views of the Cliffs of Moher en route. Aer Arann also offer flights from Connemara Airport in Inverin, about 40 minutes from Galway City.
